OAA Leadership Conference

Leaders from a majority of the States and Canada attend educational seminars and topic specific breakout sessions that address subjects from growing membership numbers and legislative affairs to hosting meetings and communication synergy. The attendees immerse themselves in networking events that help build better synergy throughout North America.

Dadmun's Defense

Join the family and friends of Mark Dadmun, Foxboro native, and Luxottica rep, March 2nd to help raise money for his battle against Multiple Myeloma. This fundraiser will be held at Demetri's (formerly Christina's) on Rt 1 in Foxboro, MA from 7 PM til Midnight. There will be a silent auction, raffle, wine wall, live music, light appetizers, and a cash bar.

15th Annual Golf Tournament

The 15th Annual OAM Scholarship and Education Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, September 8th, at the PIne Ridge Golf Course in North Oxford, Mass. This Florida style Scramble will start at 1:00.

Student/Apprentice Classes

July 31^st will mark the second Student/Apprentice classes hosted by the OAM. The event will take place at the Benjamin Franklin Institute for Technology in Boston, Wednesday evening, 6-9pm. These classes are for class credit only and will not provide an official CE credit, but will fulfill the requirements of classroom hours for apprentices.

17th Annual OAM Golf Tournament for Scholarships and Education

2015 Fall Meeting & Conference

2016 OAM Annual Meeting and Fall Education Conference

Our annual meeting and convention is gearing up to be great! Join us for comprehensive certification exam review courses (Saturday only) in contact lenses or spectacles. The OAM Spring Education Conference will be held on Sunday, April 23rd at the Westborough Doubletree Hotel. Online registration is open. Options include a comprehensive ABO review on Saturday, and an NCLE review on Sunday the 23rd.

Join the OAM for 2 days of networking and CECs. Our fall convention features an open house at the Optical Heritage Museum, the OAM Mardi Gras Dinner at the Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center. Drop in to the President's Reception at the Shades Lounge after dinner and rock to the tunes of Pantascopic Tilt. (Oh, my!) CEs are available on both Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, and our review courses (spectacles or contact lenses) meet on Saturday. 2019 Fall Education Conference and Annual Meeting

The OAM Fall Education Conference and Annual Meeting will be held at the Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center in Southbridge, MA on November 2nd and 3rd, 2019. For hotel reservations, call 508- 765-8000.

Spring 2022 OAM Education Conference

The OAM Spring education Conference schedule includes 6 hours of continuing education courses that are available in a hybrid format for opticians to wish to participate as an in-person, or remote access, participant.

Additionally, in-person attendees are invited to register for any of our hands-on workshops. Since these workshops are limited to 20 attendees, please register as soon as possible in order to reserve your seat in the course.

Fall 2022 OAM Education Conference

The OAM Fall Education Conference, as it was conducted last May, will be presented in a hybrid manner so that attendees can participate in-person or by remote access (Zoom). Presented from the Prism Theater, the hybrid schedule on Sunday will offer six hours of continuing education (3 ABO & 3 NCLE, including the OAM Annual Business Meeting).
