MA Department of Labor and Workforce Development – Division of Apprentice Training

The Division of Apprentice Training (DAT) is the agency responsible for promoting, developing and servicing registered apprenticeship programs in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

This agency, in conjunction with the MA Board of Registration for Dispensing Opticians is responsible for assisting interested sponsoring employers to establish, maintain and properly train their employees towards becoming a licensed optician through the progressive apprentice program.
